Jump to Cow Heaven by Gill Adams - Theatro Technis

Tower Theatre presents Jump to Cow Heaven, by Gill Adams, at the Theatro Technis Theatre, a 120-seat fringe venue, near Camden, north London, from 23 to 27 April 2013.

Directed by Eddie Coleman, cast includes James Laing (Frank), Sarah Evans (Lisa), Jonathan Wober (John).

Based on true events as it dramatises the bursting at the seams claustrophobia of an escaped con hiding out in an East London basement flat.It is December 1966 and that escaped con is Frank Mitchell, the 'Mad Axe Man' who is hiding out in a Barking flat after being 'sprung' from prison.

Long been considered a pawn of the Krays; London's paradoxical gangster twins, Frank is looked after by an alcoholic minder John and a prostitute called Lisa courtesy of the brothers while they wait for the heat to die down. But Frank doesn't like being cooped up. And are the Krays really planning to help Frank escape to a new life? As the largest manhunt in British history drags on, Frank's dream of a new life is crumbling and his desperation has everyone on edge.
