Haunted at Arts 21 May 2008 with Jessie Wallace

Haunted, by Jon Claydon & Tim Lawler, opens at the Arts Theatre 23 May 2008, following previews from 21 May - running to 14 June 2008.

The cast includes Jessie Wallace, Gary McDonald, Hamish Clark, Caroline Catz.

It is directed by Paul Jepson, designed by Shortall, and produced by Only Hope Productions

Five guests attend a dinner party at a chi-chi loft apartment in Southwark, south London. As the evening progresses, things begin to unravel and a sixth character becomes apparent – the house itself. Is it haunted? And is the lift in the living room a portal to evil spirits?

Jessie Wallace, who made her West End debut in December in the musical 'Rent', is best known to TV fans as EastEnders' Kat Slater, a role she played for five years to 2005. She has just finished filming the third series of the African drama 'Wild at Heart'.

Gary McDonald was in 'Market Boy' at the Royal National Theatre. On TV he was a series regular on 'EastEnders'.

Hamish Clark was last seen in the West End as Alan in 'Donkeys Years' at the Comedy Theatre. On Tv he starred in the lead role of Duncan in six series of the BBC1 drama 'Monarch of the Glen'.

Caroline Catz, is currently starring as Louisa Glasson in the ITV drama 'Doc Martin'. She was Cheryl Hutchins in four series of 'The Vice'. On stage she played Lulu in Max Stafford Clark's world premiere production of Mark Ravenhill's 'Shopping and F***ing'.

Sue Devaney starred as dim-witted Jane in Victoria Wood's comedy series 'Dinner Ladies' and for three years played Liz Harker in BBC1's 'Casualty'. Her stage credits include Alan Bennet's 'The Wind in the Willows' (National Theatre).
