"WOMAN IN BLACK" NOW BOOKING TO 1st MARCH 2003

The Woman in Black, has announced a new booking period covering performances from 2nd Dec 02 to 1st Mar 03 at the Fortune Theatre, as new cast Robert Demeger & Timothy Watson take over the roles in the two-hander. Both actors have previously appeared in the show which has been running for over 13 years.

This new cast is the 24th combination.

This ghost story written by Stephen Mallatratt from the novel by Susan Hill, opened at the Fortune Theatre on 7 June 1989 . (The show first opened at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough in 1987). It is directed by Robin Herford, designed by Michael Holt with lighting by Kevin Sleep.

When a solicitor goes to wind up the affairs of a deceased woman,he learns about her strange reclusive life,while alone in a remote and strange house.Years later , desperate to exorcise the ghosts of the past he recounts his experiences.
