"GREASE" RETURNS TO LONDON 26TH SEP 02
The musical Grease, is returning to London. The show will be at the Victoria Palace Theatre from 26th Sep 02 and booking to 1st March 2003.
Grease premiered on Broadway in 1972, and was made into a succesful film in 1978 starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John .
Songs from the show include "Grease (Is The Word)"; "You're The One That I Want"; "Greased Lightning"; "Hopelessly Devoted To You" and "Sandy".
This production of Grease opened at the Dominion Theatre in 1993 and transferred to the Cambridge in 1996 where it played until Sep 1999. The show has since toured and was last in the West End at the Dominion Theatre in October last year (2001) for a limited two week run.
The show is written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, with additional songs B Gibb, J Farrar, L St Louis & S Simon.
It is directed by David Gilmore and choreographed by Arlene Phillips.
