Movin'Out at the Apollo Victoria from 28 Mar 2006
Movin'Out, the Broadway dance show set to the classic hits of Billy Joel, will have its European debut opening at the Apollo Victoria Theatre 18 April 2006, following previews from 28 Mar 2006 - for a limited season to 17 July 2006
The Movin'Out story is told without dialogue, combining choreography by Twyla Tharp, with 24 songs written by Billy Joel, including classics such as 'Uptown Girl', 'We Didn’t Start the Fire', 'She’s Got a Way' and title track 'Movin’ Out'.
The tracks are performed live by a ten piece rock band visible on stage throughout the performance in which 'rock ‘n’ roll meets theatre'.
The Tony Award-winning show grossed over $100 million on Broadway in the three years to December 2005, while the national tour of Movin’ Out continues its run across North America having played to 50 cities since February 2004.
