Donmar Warehouse 3 months at Trafalgar Studios from Sep

The Donmar Warehouse is to launch an annual three-month residency at the Trafalgar Studios 2, which will allow it to showcase the work of graduates from its trainee director programme.

The residency starts at the end of September, with three productions over 12 weeks: Lower Ninth a new play by Beau Willimon, directed by Charlotte Westenra, concerning the after-effects of Hurricane Katrina (30 Sep to 23 Oct 2010); Novecento by Alessandro Baricco, directed by Roisin McBrinn, concerning a legendary jazz musician (28 Oct to 20 Nov 2010); and Les Parents Terribles by Jean Cocteau, translated by Jeremy Sams, directed by Chris Rolls, about a bohemian thirties Parisian household. Public booking opens 7 June 2010.
