Enron extends to 14 Aug 2010 at the Noel Coward Theatre


Lucy Prebble's Enron, has extended 3 months at the Noel Coward Theatre - tickets now on sale to 14 August 2010.

The show had its World Premiere at the Chichester Festival in July 2009, then transferred to the Royal Court in September, before transferring to the West End's Noel Coward Theatre from 16 Jan 2010, where it received terrific notices from the popular press: THE TIMES says. "A highly theatrical staging to the events that ended in the biggest bankruptcy in American corporate history." THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, "There is superb clarity in Prebble’s story-telling as well as high drama, and terrific bravura about Rupert Goold’s often dazzling production that brings the mysterious world of high finance to vivid, comprehensible life." THE EVENING STANDARD says, ""Dazzling account of the collapse of the Texan energy giant ."

It is directed by Rupert Goold and co -produced by Royal Court, Headlong and Chichester Festival Theatre

The cast to 8 May 2010 includes Tim Pigott-Smith (Ken Lay), Samuel West (Jeffrey Skilling), Amanda Drew (Claudia Roe),Tom Goodman-Hill (Andrew Fastow).

Casting for performances from 10 May to be confirmed!

Based on real life and using music, movement and video, Enron explores one of the most infamous scandals in financial history, reviewing the tumultuous 1990s and casting a new light on the financial turmoil in which the world finds itself.
