The Notebook of Trigorin, Free adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull by Tennessee Williams, from 30 March to 24 April 2010. Directed by Phil Willmott. Boasting a callously bisexual Trigorin, a particularly ferocious Arkadina and an especially long suffering Constantine, Tennessee Williams’ The Notebook of Trigorin is an intensely personal response to Chekhov’s The Seagull that has more to say about the highs and lows of a lifetime in American Theatre then 19th Century Russia.

Dream of the Dog, by Craig Higginson, from 27 April to 22 May 2010. Directed by Katie McAleese and co produced with Meeting Point Productions. Starring Janet Suzman. KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, shortly after the millennium. Patricia and Richard Wiley, an elderly white couple, are packing up to leave the farm they’ve sold to developers. Their preparations are interrupted by the arrival of a young man- ‘Look Smart’- who used to be one of the black workers on their estate until he disappeared fifteen years ago. The day before ‘Look Smart’ left, something terrible happened on the Wileys’ farm. But everyone has a different memory of the dreadful event and their own role in it. As the different accounts of their shared past are unravelled, they are all forced to confront their own versions of the truth – with shocking ramifications for their lives today.

And afraid… And now he must face his dreaded self assessment form, with every receipt evoking the good times and the bad - memories of things gone wrong, gone right, the journeys he’s been on, the relationships that have begun and ended and the people he has lost… With each receipt drawn out at random, Ben begins to stitch together the patchwork quilt that was the Tax Year 2009/2010 - a year that was both hilarious and tragic, all mixed up in one shoe box of receipts.
