Sweet Charity transfers to the Haymarket 23 April 2010
The musical Sweet Charity, will transfer to the Haymarket Theatre, opening 4 May 2010, following previews from 23 April - booking to 8 Jan 2011
The show transfers from the off West End venue, Menier Chocolate Factory, where it ends a sold out three and half month run on 7 March 2010.
Tamzin Outhwaite as Charity Hope Valentine, will transfer with the show. Further casting is to be confirmed!
The show has book by Neil Simon, music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Dorothy Field. Directed by Matthew White, choreography by Stephen Mear, designed by Tim Shortall, lighting by David Howe, costumes by Matthew White, sound by Gareth Owen. It is produced in the West End by Chocolate Factory Productions, David Ian Productions, the Theatre Royal Haymarket Productions and David Mirvish
Sweet Charity follows the misadventures of love encountered by the gullible and guileless Charity Hope Valentine, a woman who always gives her heart and her dreams to the wrong man. Cy Coleman’s score features such favourite hits as Hey, Big Spender; If My Friends Could See Me Now and The Rhythm of Life.
