Quasimodo by Lional Bart at King's Head Theatre

Quasimodo, the unproduced musical by Lionel Bart, is getting its World Premiere, 50 years after it was written, at the King's Head, a fringe venue in Islington, north London, from 20 Mar to 13 Apr 2013.

Directed by Robert Chevara , the cast includes Steven Webb (Quasimodo), Zoe George (Esmerelda), Helen Sheals, Iestyn Arwel, Melanie Bright, James Hume, Sean Paul Jenkinson, James Wolstenholme.

"The tragic tale of deformed outsider Quasimodo and the gypsy girl Esmerelda has been told many times, from the earliest silent cinema to a popular Disney cartoon. In the hands of Lionel Bart, it becomes a poignant protest against prejudice and corruption."
