The Deep Blue Sea by Terrence Rattigan at Bridewell

Tower Theatre Company presents The Deep Blue Sea, by Terrence Rattigan, directed by Lesley Strachan, at the Bridewell Theatre, in city of London, from 26 to 30 March 2013.

Looking at love and emotional truth in post war Britain the play centres on Hester Collyer, the wife of a judge in the socially suffocating climate of 1950s London. Her passion for a former RAF pilot has edged her to the limits of 'respectable' society; and as his ardour has cooled, her despair has increased.
