British producer Cameron Mackintosh told London's Evening Standard that there is "every intention" for the hit Broadway musical Hamilton to transfer to London, saying it could open as soon as 2017. Writer and star Lin Manuel-Miranda supported the statement, saying "I would be honoured to open the show in London".
