Pulling Focus Ltd presents The Mikado, music by Arthur Sullivan, libretto by W.S Gilbert, at the Tabard Theatre, in Chiswick, west London, from 20 Feb to 17 March 2013.

Directed by Matthew Johnson, designed by Chris Hone, Musical Director is Jerome van den Berghe.

The cast includes Emily Davies (Yum-Yum), Suzanna Kempner (Katisha), Eleanor Knight (Peep-Bo), Ed Norwood (Ko-Ko), Stiofan O’ Doherty (The Mikado), Andrew Pugsley (Pooh-Ba), Michael Riseley (Nanki-Poo), Michelle Witney (Pitti-Sing).

Nanki-Poo, son of the Mikado, has fled to escape an undesirable marriage to the ageing Katisha. Disguised, he returns intending to find and marry his first love, Yum-Yum. But little does he know that she is now betrothed to Ko-Ko - the High Executioner! (Director Matthew Johnson transports The Mikado from the oriental town of Titipu to the gentrified eccentric English world of a golf club, complete with its honoured rules, rituals and regulations.)
