The Alchemist by Ben Jonson at Hoxton Hall 24 Aug

Firehouse presents Ben Jonson's The Alchemist, at the Hoxton Hall Theatre, in north London from 24 Aug to 10 Sep 2010.

The rich have left their homes and deserted the city and three characters join forces to pose as alchemists.

Firehouse and Hoxton Hall have joined forces to stage a reworking of this classic text, using true stories from the local community. From these stories will come a new version of The Alchemist.
