Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband, opens at the Vaudeville Theatre 10 Nov 2010, following previews from 4 Nov - booking to 19 Feb 2011.

Directed by Lindsay Posner, the cast includes Alex Hanson (Sir Robert Chiltern), Rachael Stirling (Mrs Chiltern), Samantha Bond (Mrs Cheveley), Elliot Cowan (Lord Goring), Charles Kay , Fiona Button, Caroline Blakiston.

Sir Robert Chiltern is a successful Government minister, well-off and with a loving wife. All this is threatened when Mrs Cheveley appears in London with damning evidence of a past misdeed. Sir Robert turns for help to his friend Lord Goring , an apparently idle philanderer and the despair of his family. For the next 48 hours all their lives will be turned upside down.
