Cast changes in Legally Blonde The Musical from 25 Oct 2010, at the Savoy Theatre

New cast members include Denise Van Outen(Paulette), Siobhan Dillon (Vivienne),Carley Stenson (Margot), Stephane Anelli (Padamadan, Nikos), Dominic Tribuzio (Kiki), Kimmy Edwards (Judge, Saleswoman), Robbie Towns (Aaron), Dawn Sievewright (Kate, Chutney), Thomas Camilleri (Carlos), Stephen Webb (Lowell), Jonathan Mawson, Ruthie Stephenson, Gregor Stewart.

The show continues to feature Sheridan Smith (Elle Woods), Alex Gaumond (Emmett), Peter Davison (Professor Callahan), Susan McFadden (Serena), Aoife Mulholland (Brooke), Emma Bateman (Stenographer), Chris Ellis-Stanton (Grandmaster Chad, Dewey, Kyle), Ibinabo Jack (Pilar), Suzie McAdam (Enid), Andy Mace (Dad, Winthrop, Reporter), Sorelle Marsh (Courtney, Mom, Whitney), Sean Mulligan (Pforzheimer), Tamara Wall (District Attorney), Jane McMurtrie, Lucy Miller.

Actor, singer and television presenter Denise Van Outen returns to musical theatre having previously been seen in Tell Me On A Sunday, Chicago, Rent and Les Miserables. Van Outen has presented many television programmes including The Big Breakfast, Something for the Weekend, Who Dares Sings, Grease:Summer School Musical, The Friday Night Project and The 5 O'Clock Show. She also hosted Grease Is The Word for NBC in the USA and appeared as a panallist on the BBC’s I’d Do Anything and Any Dream Will Do.

Siobhan Dillon was a finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s first reality TV show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? She went on to make her West End debut as Patty in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Carley Stenson, who will make her West End stage debut in Legally Blonde The Musical, is best known on television as Steph Cunningham in C4’s Hollyoaks, a role she has played for over ten years. She won ITV’s Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes when she performed as Faith Hill.

Legally Blonde The Musical, opened at the Savoy Theatre 13 Jan 2010, following previews from 5 Dec, to positive notices from the popular press press: Paul Taylor for The Independent says, "Totally blown away...it's ridiculously enjoyable from start to finish." Benedict Nightingale for The Times says, "Delightful, annoying, supremely wishful musical..." Henry Hitchings for The Evening Standard says, "It's energetic and amusing."

It has music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, book by Heather Hach. Orchestrations by Christopher Jahnke.

It is directed & choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, designed by David Rockwell, costumes by Gregg Barnes, lighting by Kenneth Posner and Paul Miller, sound by ACME Sound Partners. Produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, Robert G Bartner, Ambassador Theatre Group and Jamie Hendry Productions.
