Sense & Sensibility at Queen's Hornchurch from 16 April

Sense & Sensibility, by Roger Parsley and Andy Graham, adapted from the novel by Jane Austen, is at the Queen's Theatre in Hornchurch northeast London, from 16 April to 8 May 2010.

Directed by Matt Devitt, designed by Norman Coates , lighting by Andy Lewis.

Starring cut to the chase… the Queen’s permanent ensemble of actor-musicians - Pam Jolley as Marianne and Francesca Loren as Elinor. Other characters are played by Elliot Harper, Karen Mann, Sarah Scowen, Marcus Webb.

Headstrong Marianne and prudent Elinor step into the scintillating world of Regency society and are soon swept off their feet. Romance blossoms as Marianne falls for dashing rogue Willoughby, whilst Elinor keeps her feelings for kind-hearted but unavailable Edward Ferrars firmly hidden. Follow their journey through passion and heartbreak to find lasting happiness.
