Shoebox by The Effort at Etcetera Theatre from 6 April

Shoebox, a devised piece by The Effort, based on a box of writing by Andy Spragg, at the Etcetera Theatre, a fringe venue in Camden north London from 6 to 11 April 2010.

The all-female cast of five takes the audience on an adventure through our real and imagined cities with the help of 74 white shoeboxes. It is a light-hearted physical performance grounded in poetry. Shoebox takes a tongue-in-cheek look at our urban habitat and rituals, from transport to architecture, leaving nothing unscathed. You’ll never take the Northern Line in the same way again.
