A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, a black comedy by Peter Nichols, directed by Stephen Unwin, at the Rose Kingston, in south London, from 30 April to 18 May 2013. (following a run at Liverpool Playhouse Fri 5 to Sat 27 April)

Starring Ralf Little (Bri), Rebecca Johnson (Sheila), Jessica Bastick-Vines (Joe), Marjorie Yates, Sally Tatum , Owen Oakeshott.

Bri is a school teacher. His wife, Sheila, loves amateur dramatics. But their daughter Josephine is more than they bargained for and life is getting difficult...Portrays the love and pain, the anger and strain of a young couple raising a disabled child.

Ralf Little is well known for his roles in The Royle Family, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (BBC) and most recently The Cafe (Sky 1), which he co-wrote. Ralf’s film credits include Michael Winterbottom’s 24 Hour Party People and Telstar. He made his stage debut in 2002 in Love on the Dole at the National Theatre and was nominated for an Olivier Award for his role in Notes on Falling Leaves at the Royal Court Theatre. His last stage appearance was in 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover at the Bush Theatre in 2008.
