Ruby In The Dust's The Great Gatsby - Riverside Studios


Ruby In The Dust presents The Great Gatsby, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel. adapted by Joe Evans and Linnie Reedman. Original Music and lyrics by Joe Evans, at the Riverside Studios 3, in Hammersmith, west London, from 21 may to 8 June 2013.

Directed by Linnie Reedman, and starring Matilda Sturridge as Daisy.

Designed by Christopher Hone, choreography by Lee Proud, lighting by Seth Rook-Williams, costumes by Belle Mundi.

Set in 1920s New York summer. Jay Gatsby is the man who has everything. But one thing will always be out of his reach... Beneath the shimmering surface of his life he is hiding a secret: a silent longing that can never be fulfilled. And soon this destructive obsession will force his world to unravel.

(This production had a run at the King's Arms Theatre in August 2012.)
