Mess by Caroline Horton at Battersea Arts Centre

China Plate presents Mess, a new play with songs, based on Caroline Horton's experiences of anorexia, at the Battersea Arts Centre, in Clapham, south London, from 14 May to 1 June 2013, as part of a UK tour.

It is written by Caroline Horton, with music & songs by Seiriol Davies. Directed by Alex Swift, designed by Fiammetta Horvat, lighting by Andy Purves.

Cast includes Caroline Horton (Josephine), Hannah Boyde (Boris), Seiriol Davies (Sistahl).

Offering an insight that challenges popular misconceptions about dealing with and recovering from the condition. Josephine, Boris and Sistahl are catapulted from the depths of despair and bafflement to the heights of joy and hope and back again as they struggle to tell the story of Josephine’s anorexia and recovery.
