Simply Heavenly extends one week at Young Vic to 19 Apr 03

The musical Simply Heavenly, by Langston Hughes Book and lyrics by Langston Hughes, music by David Martin, has been extended by one week at the Young Vic theatre and will now close on 19 Apr 03.

Cast includes Clive Rowe, Des Coleman, Nicola Hughes, Paul Kissaun, Melanie Marshall, Jason Pennycooke, Cat Simmons, Rhashan Stone, Dale Superville, Ruby Turner.

It is directed by Josette Bushell-Mingo, designed by Rob Howell, lighting by Paul Anderson , choreography by Paul J Medford.

Jesse B Semple is a hardworking man, often down on his luck, with an expensive divorce looming. He has a good woman to love but is tempted by the local siren and even more so by the neighbourhood bar. Life is very complicated!
