Visiting Mr. Green with Warren Mitchell at the Trafalgar Studios from 3 April 2008

Visiting Mr. Green, by Jeff Baron, starring Warren Mitchell & Gideon Turner, will open for a limited run at the Trafalgar Studios 1, on 8 April 2008, following previews from 3 April - booking to 10 May 2008.

It is directed by Patrick Garland, designed by Sean Cavanagh, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Peter Cox, produced by Ian Fricker.

Widower Mr. Green is almost hit by a speeding car driven by corporate executive Ross Gardiner . Found guilty of reckless driving, Ross is ordered to spend the next six months making weekly visits to Mr. Green. Family secrets are revealed and old wounds reopened as both men come to understand and tolerate one another’s differences.

82 year-old Warren Mitchell (Mr Green) has appeared on stage, in films and on television throughout his career. He is best known on television for his portrayal of Alf Garnett in ’Till Death Us Do Part. He was last on the West End stage in 2003 in "The Price" at the Apollo Theatre.

Gideon Turner’s (Ross Gardiner) theatre credits include Laertes in Hamlet and Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet, both for the Royal Shakespeare Company, and most recently, English Touring Theatre’s production of The Changeling. Gideon’s television credits include Hotel Babylon, Cromwell, Bad Girls and Dalziel and Pascoe.
