A Doll's House transfers to Duke of York's 8 Aug 2013

The Young Vic theatre production of A Doll's House, transfers to the Duke of york's Theatre, opening 14 Aug 2013, following previews from 8 Aug - running to 26 Oct 2013.

Hattie Morahan reprises her role of Nora Helmer and Dominic Rowan playing Torvald. Hattie Morahan won the 2012 Evening Standard Award and Critics’ Circle Award for her performance as Nora. She was also Olivier award nominated for the role.

The cast also includes Nick Fletcher (Nils Krogstad) and Steve Toussaint (Doctor Rank). Further casting to be announced.

This production of A Doll's House, by Henrik Ibsen, with English language version by Simon Stephens from a literal translation by Charlotte Barslund, premiered at the Young Vic Theatre for short runs in July 2012 and March this year

It is directed by Carrie Cracknell, designed by Ian MacNeill with costumes by Gabrielle Dalton, lighting by Guy Hoare, music by Stuart Earl, sound by David McSeveney and choreography by Quinny Sacks. It is produced in the WEst End by The Young Vic, Mark Rubinstein, Gavin Kalin and Neil Laidlaw .

Nora's world seems ideal: beautiful children, elegant home, adoring husband. But her life is shot through with lies and delusion. When the truth bursts into the open, Nora is shocked to discover how radically her life has to change.
