Cast includes Lloyd Morris, Jodyanne Richardson, Elisa King, Marcus Adolphy.

Explores the close and fraught relationship between the black and Jewish communities from the late 1930s to the 60s. The play is based in part on the lives of the Artistic Director, Leah Townley’s grandparents. It follows the lives of Sam, a self-made businessman, hotel owner and part-time cowboy who rides in rodeos with the Kosher Cowboys and Earl who arrived from the South as a young man looking for a better life, and found his way to being manager of the Hoover Hotel on Chicago's west side.

The play is accompanied throughout by live Jazz music from the era, as well as new compositions by Peter Michaels, all performed by Jazz pianist Ashley Henry.
