Varla Jean Merman The Book of Merman / Well-strung,The Singing String Quartet, a two-act evening of entertainment, directed by Donna Drake, at Leicester Square Theatre from 19 to 21 Sep 2013.

Act 1 features all-male string quartet Well-Strung, classical musicians who also sing, putting their own spin on the music of Mozart, Vivaldi, Rihanna, Adele, Lady Gaga, and many more! Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello) and Trevor Wadleigh (viola). Features material written by Donna Drake, Mark Cortale and Jeffery Roberson. Musical arrangements by David Levinson; additional arrangements by Daniel Shevlin. Well-Strung was conceived by Christopher Marchant and Mark Cortale.

Act Two of the evening is drag artist Varla Jean Merman (aka Jeffery Roberson) in The Book of Merman featuring new songs, videos and monologues.
