Let It Be, the forthcoming West End production celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles, unveiled its company as they performed a rooftop gig in Central London, echoing The Beatles’ famous 1969 performance on top of the Apple Corp. building on Savile Row. The company of LET IT BE announced their arrival in the West End by playing an impromptu gig including hits Twist and Shout, Hard Day’s Night and, of course, Let It Be, to an invited audience at the Vista rooftop bar at The Trafalgar Hotel, against London’s iconic skyline. The musical is at the Prince of Wales Theatre from 14 Sep 2012, then transfer to Savoy Theatre 1 Feb 2013..
Performing on the rooftop were Emanuele Angeletti, Gordon Elsmore, Reuven Gershon and Stephen Hill.
These four will alternate the roles with four others.
