Rosalie Craig among new cast for The Ferryman in the West End

New casting has been announced for Jez Butterworth's play The Ferryman, which runs at the Gielgud Theatre.

Rosalie Craig, who has recently been announced to star alongside Patti LuPone in Stephen Sondheim's Company, will join the cast to play Caitlin Carney. She will be joined by Owen McDonnell who will play Quinn Carney and Justin Edwards who will play Tom Kettle.

Sean Delaney - Michael Carney

Laurie Kynaston - Oisin Carney
Saoirse-Monica Jackson - Shena Carney

Catherine McCormack, Charles Dale, Mark Lambert and Glenn Speers will continue in their roles in the production.

The first performance for the new cast will be on 8th January 2018.

Directed by Sam Mendes, The Ferryman opened at the Royal Court last year, and announced its West End transfer before entering previews. The production reunited Butterworth and Mendes after their work on James Bond film Spectre. The production received wide critical acclaim upon its premiere, and has been nominated for four awards at this year's Evening Standard Awards.  

The Ferryman has design by Rob Howell, lighting by Peter Mumford, sound and original music by Nick Powell, with the new cast will be directed by Tim Hoare.

The Ferryman is booking at the Gielgud Theatre until 19th May 2018.
