Pinocchio at the National Theatre

Somebody's been wishing upon a star... because the National Theatre is reportedly finalising a deal with Disney Theatrical to bring its 1940 animated classic Pinocchio alive on stage, according to the Daily Mail. The musical, which is being tipped for Christmas 2016, will be directed by John Tiffany and written by Enda Walsh and will feature the iconic Disney songs such as "Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee (An Actor’s Life For Me)," "I’ve Got No Strings," and, of course, "When You Wish Upon a Star."
