Full casting has been announced for the Open Air Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which is set to open next month. Directed by Dominic Hill, Amber James and Kieran Hill will take on the roles of Hippolyta/Titania and Theseus/Oberon respectively, while Susan Wokoma will play Bottom and Myra McFayden will play the role of Puck. The cast also includes Remy Deasley as Helena, Gabrielle Brooke as Hermia, Michael Elcock as Lysander and Pierro Niel-Mee as Demetrius.
A Midsummer Night's Dream Tickets
William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream returns to Regent's Park Open Air Theatre in a new production directed by Dominic Hill.
Dominic Hill is the artistic director of Citizens Theatre in Glasgow, where garnered acclaim for his productions of Oresteia, Crime and Punishment and Betrayal.
A Midsummer Night's Dream will run at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre from 28th June to 27th July.
The play was last staged at the theatre in 2012, when Matthew Dunster directed a production which saw the play set on a trailer park, harking to My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.
