Actress Carey Mulligan will star in the world premiere of Dennis Kelly’s new play Girls & Boys, which will be directed by Lyndsey Turner at the Royal Court. Kelly’s play is about a random-chance meeting at an airport in the queue for an EasyJet flight that leads to an intense relationship and subsequent marriage and kids.

A couple fall head over heels in love with each other after meeting in the queue fro an EasyJet flight at an airport. Now, they've started settling down: buying a house together, having kids, juggling their careers. But their world begins to unravel, and things start going "properly wrong".
Girls & Boys marks the first collaboration between writer Dennis Kelly and director Lyndsey Turner.
Dennis Kelly’s work for the Royal Court in the past includes The Ritual Slaughter of Gorge Mastromas at the Royal Court, and he also co-wrote the Olivier Award-winning musical Matilda with comedian Tim Minchin.His television work includes the six-part Channel 4 drama Utopia.
Lyndsey Turner’s previous work includes Posh at the Royal Court and West End, Hamlet at the Barbican (which starred Benedict Cumberbatch) and Chimerica at the Almeida.
