Our Review 5 / 5

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert was at the Palace Theatre from 2009 to 2011. It's based on the 1994 film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and was first seen at the Lyric Theatre in Sydney in October 2006.

The success of the show sparked worldwide interested for Priscilla, enabling a West End production to open. The London production of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert opened just three months after the show closed in Sydney. The original London cast included Australian heart-throb Jason Donovan as Tick, Oliver Thornton as Adam and Tony Sheldon as Bernadette.

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert will resume its UK tour in 2021, with hopes of returning to the West End. Performance dates for Priscilla, Queen of the Desert in the West End, as well as a venue and casting are to be announced.
