The St James Theatre's revival of Jason Robert Brown's musical The Last Five Years has extended booking at the London fringe venue by one week due to popular demand. The show, which is currently in previews and opens officially on 2 November 2016, is now booking to 3 December 2016. Written and directed by Jason Robert Brown, the production stars Samantha Barks and Jonathan Bailey as lovers Jamie and Cathy whose story is told from alternative perspectives. With musical direction by Torquil Munro, it is produced by Hilary and Stuart Williams in association with Paul Taylor-Mills.
Under the new ownership of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group, The St James Theatre will be re-branded The Other Palace Theatre in the New Year, and plans to become a full-time home for the development and production of new and old musicals.
