Full cast for Bat Out of Hell’s return to London announced
The full casting for the return of Jim Steinman’s musical Bat Out of Hell, featuring the songs of rock legend Meat Loaf has been announced.
Bat Out of Hell is set to open at the Dominion Theatre in April, and the show’s leads from the original run at the London Coliseum – Andrew Polec and Christina Bennington – will return in the musical’s central roles of Strat and Raven.
The musical is set in the dystopian world of Obsidian, where Raven’s father Falco rules supreme. Strat, the leader of The Lost, a group who are forever young, falls for Raven, but they face struggles to be together.
Rob Fowler and Sharon Sexton will also return to the show in the roles of Falco and Sloane. Alex Thomas-Smith will play Tink, Danielle Steers returns as Zahara, Wayne Robinson will play Jagwire, Giovanni Spanó plays Ledoux and Patrick Sullivan will play Blake.
At certain performances, Strat will be played by Simon Gordon or Jordon Gage.

The musical features classic Meat Loaf songs from across the Bat Out of Hell albums such as “I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”, “You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth”, “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad” and “Bat Out Of Hell”, as well as the unreleased songs “What Part of My Body Hurts the Most” and “Not Allowed to Love”.
Bat Out of Hell is at the Dominion Theatre from 2nd April to 28th July 2018.
