First Look at Ivo van Hove's Hedda Gabler starring Ruth Wilson at the National

Last night Ivo van Hove made his National Theatre directing debut with a modern production of Ibsen's masterpiece Hedda Gabler in a new version by Patrick Marber.

Ruth Wilson returns to the NT to play the title role alongside a cast which includes Rafe Spall, Chukwudi Iwuji, Kate Duchêne, Éva Magyar, Sinéad Matthews and Kyle Soller, The production features set and lighting design by Jan Versweyveld, costume design by An D'Huys and sound by Tom Gibbons.

 

Hedda Gabler runs in rep at the National Theatre to 21 March 2017.
