London Theatre launches Spotlight podcast with first guest, Giles Terera
LondonTheatre.co.uk today launches its new podcast series, Spotlight, featuring extended interviews with the cast, creatives and supporters of theatre in London.
Released on a bi-weekly basis, each episode will delve behind the curtain with in-depth discussions with actors, writers, directors, and other figures and familiar faces from around the West End.
The first episode features an interview with actor Giles Terera, known for his Olivier Award-winning performance as Aaron Burr in the West End production of Hamilton. Terera is currently starring alongside Hayley Atwell and Tom Burke in Ian Rickson's production of Rosmersholm at the Duke of York's Theatre.
Speaking to host Will Longman in rehearsals for the play, Terera spoke about his time working on Hamilton and winning his Olivier, his directing ambitions, and he shares some advice that has stayed with him throughout his career.
