In this vibrant new production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the Globe Theatre becomes a space for communal celebration under starry, summer skies.
Enter a world where the veil between the everyday and the extraordinary grows joyfully thin.
As night deepens on the eve of a royal wedding, a company of amateur performers prepares a play for the big day and invite you to step into their story.
Follow a group of giddy lovers chasing desire and connection through a moonlit forest as they collide with playful spirits in a fairy realm where anything is possible. Hearts open, spells go awry, and surprising transformations unfold in a shared night of mischief that fills the Globe with chaos and wonder.
By dawn, everyone has been changed. Come and be part of the magic.

“Joyous, immersive Shakespeare that welcomes everyone in”
Audiences are utterly enchanted by this production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Globe, praising its joyous, accessible approach to Shakespeare. The show transforms the classic comedy into an im...
Possibly the most enjoyable I have ever found Shakespeare - audience interaction-wise, it felt pretty close to how it would have been in Elizabethan times. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is pretty bonkers, and it was made completely understandable and thoroughly fun. So much grinning and laughter, joyful music and dance. Wonderful. Would absolutely recommend.
It was fantastic because of the interactive style of actors and audience. I imagined how ‘A Mid-summer Night Dream’ performed in the Shakespeare’s era. People in that era must have enjoyed this work if the performing style was interactive like this play in London theatre, 2026.
Wonderfully funny, very cleverly casted and interpretation definitely engaging for all people and ages
