‘Clybourne Park’ announces initial casting at Park Theatre
The 10th anniversary production will open this spring.
Initial casting has been revealed for the 10th anniversary production of Bruce Norris' Clybourne Park. Clybourne Park is at the Park Theatre from 16 March to 23 April, and Clybourne Park tickets are on sale now.
The Clybourne Park play starts off with a couple in 1950s America selling their townhouse to the neighbourhood's first black family. 50 years later, a white couple buys the property, but the area is now a predominantly black neighbourhood. Clybourne Park won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, as well as Olivier and Tony Awards for Best Play.
Michael Fox, Andrew Langtree, Richard Lintern, Imogen Stubbs, Eric Underwood, Katie Matsell, and Aliyah Odoffin will star in Clybourne Park. Oliver Kaderbhai will direct Clybourne Park, and a further creative team includes set and costume design by James Turner, lighting design by Alex Lewer, and sound design by Will Tonna.
