After concerts at Crazy Coqs and at Cadogan Hall, Gatsby: The Musical will run for a month of full-length performances. Gatsby: The Musical is at Southwark Playhouse from 8 December - 8 January.

Set at the tailend of the 1920s in a New York speakeasy, The Great Gatsby story is turned on its head, as it’s told through the eyes of Daisy Buchanan. Reliving her dreams, Daisy struggles to find herself, all while looking for Jay Gatsby at the same time.

Gatsby: The Musical is inspired by Zelda Fitzgerald, the wife of The Great Gatsby author F. Scott Fitzgerald. Speaking about the musical, writer and director Linnie Reedman said: “Gatsby has become, over the years, synonymous with glamour, glitz and parties. What a lot of people forget, however, is that the ‘Roaring Twenties’ came immediately after a World War. And a global pandemic.”

A cast and a further creative team for Gatsby: The Musical are to be announced.
