The Industry and Anna X writer Joseph Charlton returns with his latest play, Brilliant Jerks. Brilliant Jerks begins previews at Southwark Playhouse on 1 March, ahead of an opening night on 3 March and performances to 25 March. Book Brilliant Jerks tickets on London Theatre.

Set over a decade, audiences follow the creation of a multi-billion-dollar app that allows people to call taxis on their phone. The play aims to show how technology takes over our lives and how Silicon Valley shapes the world.

Brilliant Jerks began life a few years ago when I was working as a journalist. The play is about the beginning of the end of the tech boom era… This play is about the people behind the tech. It's about a driver, a coder, and a CEO - and what unites or divides those people all working for one company, but living very disparate lives,” said writer Joseph Charlton.

A cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.

Brilliant Jerks is at Southwark Playhouse.
