The lead cast has been announced for the English language premiere of Your Lie in April. Performances begin at the Harold Pinter Theatre in the West End on 28 June for a 12-week run.

The musical will star Zheng Xi Yong as Kōsei Arima, Rachel Clare Chan as Tsubaki Sawabe, and Dean John-Wilson as Ryota Watari, who all starred in the two concert versions of the show last month at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. They are joined by Mia Kobayashi, who makes her professional debut as Kaori Miyazono.

Your Lie in April, a musical based on the manga series by Naoshi Arakawa, has music by multi-Grammy, Tony, and Emmy Award nominated Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn (Death Note The Musical, Jekyll & Hyde, Bonnie & Clyde), with lyrics by Carly Robyn Green and Tracy Miller.

The show is directed and choreographed by Nick Winston (Death Note the Musical, Fame, Annie).

Frank Wildhorn’s musical, which opened in Tokyo in 2022 and was soon followed by a Japan tour, follows the story of teenage piano prodigy Kōsei Arima, who cannot bring himself to play music after his mother's death, but is thrown back into the spotlight by new friend and violinist Kaori Miyazono.
