Lungs, starring Claire Foy and Matt Smith, available to stream from the Old Vic
Following the revival of Claire Foy and Matt Smith in Lungs, audiences will be able to relive the production. A limited run of virtual streams for Lungs has been confirmed, available from 27 - 29 January.
Performed at the Old Vic in 2019, Duncan Macmillan's two-person play follows a couple as they wrestle with the idea of bringing a child into a world. With overpopulation, political unrest and melting ice caps, they toy with all possibilities in this socially-conscious drama.
Foy and Smith reunited on stage for Lungs, previously playing Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip in Netflix's The Crown respectively. The production played at the Old Vic for a limited run from 14th October to 9th November 2019.
In a review for LondonTheatre.co.uk, Will Longman said: "There's a pace to the text that is reflected in Warchus' direction. Played in the round, Foy and Smith spend much in perfect symmetry: when there is harmony in their relationship, they are perfect reflections of each other."
Lungs is available to watch from 27 - 29 January.
