A number of famous faces have starred in *2:22 — A Ghost Story*, including Giovanna Fletcher, Tom Felton, Laura Whitmore, Cheryl, and Sophia Bush. 

A new revival of *Oliver!* will transfer to the West End this December. Lionel Bart's adaptation of Charles Dickens’s novel will open at the Gielgud Theatre.

The cast will include Simon Lipkin (*Elf*) as Fagin, Shanay Holmes (*Miss Saigon*) as Nancy, Aaron Sidwell (*The Lord of the Rings*) as Bill Sikes, Billy Jenkins (*Dodger*) as the Artful Dodger, and Philip Franks (*Art*) as Mr Brownlow.

When two college kids, Brad and his fiancée Janet find themselves caught in a storm and break down outside a mansion, they find themselves at the hands of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. He’s no ordinary doctor though. The transvestite scientist reveals their new creation — Rocky Horror — to the innocent pair. He's a blonde-haired, tanned muscle man who, on the surface, is the perfect specimen. But remember, not everything is as it seems. So go in with an open mind and get ready for a night to remember. 

### Who wrote *The Rocky Horror Show*?

Richard O’Brien created the original story, music, and lyrics. The actor and screenplay writer then collaborated with Jim Sharman for the movie adaptation. O'Brien even plays Riff-Raff in *The Rocky Horror Show* film. He's also created and starred in the *Rocky Horror* sequel, *Shock Treatment*, as well as a hosting turn on *The Crystal Maze.*

This winter family favourite is the timeless tale of a boy and a snowman who comes to life. 


The Peacock Theatre opened in 1960 in the West End, close to the [Aldwych Theatre](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/theatres/aldwych-theatre) and [Theatre Royal Drury Lane](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/theatres/theatre-royal-drury-lane). Originally named the Royalty Theatre, early productions typically tended to be London plays. This only lasted for a year, as the theatre was repurposed into a cinema, screening movies including *My Fair Lady*.

The Peacock Theatre has been used as a television studio. From 1980 - 1986, the Peacock was home to *This Is Your Life*, an autobiographical television series that delved into the lives of British stars. A new lease of life was breathed into the Peacock Theatre in the 1990s, thanks to [Sadler’s Wells](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/theatres/sadlers-wells). Building their new theatre, the Peacock became a subsidiary dance venue for the company. Currently, the theatre is shared between the London School of Economics lectures in the daytime and Sadler’s Wells productions in the evening. The Peacock really is the Jekyll & Hyde of London theatres.
