Peter Morgan’s ‘Patriots’, starring Tom Hollander, sets full West End cast

Will Keen will reprise his Olivier-winning performance as Vladimir Putin. Rupert Goold directs the Russian political drama, now opening at the Noël Coward Theatre.

Find out the full cast for the West End transfer of Peter Morgan’s Patriots. Patriots begins previews at the Noël Coward Theatre on 26 May, with an opening night on 6 June, and performances to 19 August.

Will Keen will play Vladimir Putin; a role that earned him his first Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Tom Hollander reprises the role of Boris Berezovsky, alongside members of the Almeida Theatre cast: Luke Thallon as Roman Abramovich, Matt Concannon, Ronald Guttman, Sean Kingsley, Paul Kynman, and Jessica Temple.

Josef Davies, Ashley Gerlach, Howard Gossington, Stefanie Martini, Evelyn Miller, Peter Eastland, Lydia Fraser, and Matt McClure join the West End company.

Set in 1991 as the Soviet Union falls, Patriots follows billionaire businessman Boris Berezovsky. At first, Berezovsky is a keen supporter of Yeltzin and Putin, but years later, he becomes public enemy number one.

Rupert Goold directs Patriots. The show features set design by Miriam Buether, co-costume design by Buether and Deborah Andrews, lighting design by Jack Knowles, and sound design by Adam Cork.

Patriots will be at the Noel Coward Theatre.
