Take a tour of London County Hall and the set of Witness for the Prosecution
For two years now, Agatha Christie's suspenseful murder mystery Witness for the Prosecution has captivated audiences in London.
While Christie's masterful story is full of trademark twists to keep them guessing, it also has the benefit of a magnificent setting. The action unfolds across the floor of the historic London County Hall, which served as the home of local government for over 60 years.
Theatregoers are seated amongst the action, as the main hall is transformed into a courtroom with barristers duelling across the floor, a judge overlooking proceedings, and 12 audience members playing their part sat on the jury benches.
To get a taste of the experience, Simon Dutton, who plays Sir Wilfrid Robarts in the play, gave us a tour of the set.
