A Bowl Of Cherries at Charing Cross Theatre.

Loose Cannonz Productions presents A Bowl Of Cherries, at the Charing Cross Theatre, an off west end venue, from 06 Mar - 31 Mar 2012.

Devised and directed by Andrew C Wadsworth, book by Carolyn Pertwee, music by David Martin and produced by Julie Samuel.

Cast includes Gary Wilmot (various roles from age 6-75), Clare Buckfield (Penny Riddle).

A Bowl of Cherries is a musical revue that looks at life through a cycle of plays and songs, as observed by two wartime ghosts. Penny Riddle and Albert Farthing are trapped in the theatre between this world and the next. Albert is tired of being in limbo and wants to move on but is held back by Penny who is in denial, believing she is still alive and waiting for her big theatrical break. Their story unfolds through the evening, concluding with a dramatic denouement.
