It's time to hop into our time machines all the way to the Adelphi Theatre! Back to the Future the Musical has extended its West End run to February 2024.

The Olivier Award-winning Best New Musical, based on the classic film of the same name, follows teenager Marty McFly as he accidentally time travels to 1955 in a DeLorean invented by his friend, Emmett "Doc" Brown. But before he can return to 1985, Marty must make sure his high school-aged parents fall in love to save his own life.

This celebrated musical is directed by John Rando and co-created by the film's screenwriters, Robert Zemeckis (who also directed) and Bob Gale. In a four-star Back to the Future review, our critic said, "Sci-fi and theatre blend to create genuine magic."

Gale and producer Colin Ingram spoke to London Theatre about bringing Back to the Future to the stage.

Cory English and Ben Joyce continue playing as Doctor Emmett Brown and Marty McFly, respectively.

The cast also includes Amber Davies as Lorraine Baines, Oliver Nicholas as George McFly, Jordan Benjamin as Goldie Wilson, Harry Jobson as Biff Tannen, Sophie Naglik as Jennifer Parker, Gary Trainor as Strickland, Will Haswell as Dave McFly and the alternate Marty McFly, and Emma Lloyd as Linda McFly.
