Cast Update - To Kill A Mockingbird at Open Air Theatre

Cast update for To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel, which opens at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park, 22 May 2013, following previews from 16 May - running to 15 June 2013.

Directed by Timothy Sheader, Robert Sean Leonard (Atticus Finch), Richie Campbell (Tom Robinson), Simon Gregor (Bob Ewell), Hattie Ladbury (Ms Maude Atkinson), Rona Morison (Mayella Ewell), Joe Speare (Reverend Sykes), Daniel Tuite (Boo Radley). Eleanor Worthington-Cox will share the role of Scout.

Tells the story of life in the American Deep South through the inquiring eyes of a child. Jem and Scout's idyllic childhood innocence is shattered by the realisation that prejudice rules their town when their father defends a young black man falsely accused of raping a white woman and the family becomes a target of gossip and abuse.

Robert Sean Leonard is a Tony award-winning American actor best known for playing Dr. James Wilson in the Fox television series House and Neil Perry in the 1989 movie Dead Poets Society. Having frequently performed on and off Broadway since 1986, To Kill a Mockingbird will mark Robert's return to the London stage for the first time in 22 years.
