CASTING UPDATE FOR VAGINA MONOLOGUES

Casting news concerning The Vagina Monologues.

Melanie B, Rhona Cameron and Ingeborga Dapkunaite to join the cast from 26th Feb 02 for four weeks only to 23rd March 02.

Mel B, is best known as SCARY SPICE from pop group The Spice Girls.

Rhona Cameron is a comedienne who appears regularly on television and, last year, she wrote and starred in her own BBC2 sitcom series 'Rhona'.

Ingeborga Dapkunaite has starred in many films including "Seven Years in Tibet", "Mission Impossible" and "Burnt by the Sun". Her British television work includes "The Professionals" and "The Good Guys".

(Supermodel Naomi Campbell, is expected to join the cast from 25th March 02. )

The Vagina Monologues is written by Eve Ensler, designed by Bunny Christie with lighting by Chris Davey.

Based on interviews with a diverse group of women - from a Long Island antique dealer to a Bosnian refugee - the play brazenly explores the humour, power, pain, wisdom, outrage, mystery and excitement hidden in vaginas.
