"Ducktastic" by Hamish McColl and Sean Foley confirmed at the Albery Theatre from 11 Oct 2005

Ducktastic, a new comedy by Hamish McColl and Sean Foley, is now confirmed to open at the Albery Theatre 17 Oct 2005, following previews from 11 Oct 2005

(Tickets expected to go on sale 12 Sep 2005!)

The cast includes Hamish McColl (Christopher Ursula Sasoon), Sean Foley (Roy de La Rue), Liz Crowther, Clive Hayward, Alex Kelly, Ruby Snape, Daphne

It is directed by Kenneth Branagh, designed by Alice Power, lighting by Patrick Woodroffe, magic by Simon Drake.

Whereas 'The Play What I Wrote' was inspired by Morecambe and Wise, Hamish McColl and Sean Foley now take their inspiration from illusionists Siegfried and Roy in Las Vegas.

Christopher Ursula Sassoon has lost his licence to perform in Las Vegas after an unfortunate incident with an emu. In a bid to make it back to the big time, he's decided to stage a Las Vegas spectacular in Newcastle. Teaming up with Roy, a pet shop proprietor from Portsmouth, Sassoon is ready to present his most ambitious show ever with showgirls, fireworks, dancing waterfalls, death-defying feats, an erupting volcano and the world's most amazing duck!

Ducktastic is produced by David Pugh, Dafydd Rogers and Scott Rudin.
